Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (WSCP) are pleased to share our multi-agency training programme. Our aim is to provide accessible multi-agency training for our safeguarding partner agencies throughout Warwickshire. All of our training is linked to the learning from Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews, findings from quality assurance activity and key priorities of the partnership.

Training currently on offer:

• Child Sexual Abuse training delivered by the Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse (CSA Centre).

• Contextual Safeguarding training delivered by Safer Now and Barnardo’s

How do I book on?

All training is bookable through Eventbrite. To secure your place, please follow the instructions on the link provided for each session on the timetable below.

Is there a charge for training?

Currently, all training is free of charge to professionals working with children, young people and families in Warwickshire.

Is training delivered virtually or in person? 

The training on offer is delivered by a mix of methods including online, in person or via webinars. The delivery method of the course you are interested in can be found in the below timetable.

Do you offer single agency training? 

No. All of our training is delivered on a multi-agency basis and delegates of each session will be from a range of organisations across the partnership.

WSCP believes that training attended by different professionals from multiple agencies, provides an opportunity to learn from each other, network with other professionals and gives valuable insight into safeguarding practice within the partner agencies we work so closely with. Where space on a session is capped, WSCP will ensure spaces are allocated fairly to agencies to ensure a range of professionals have an opportunity to attend.
